If the castle is to be set up outside we can set it up on grass or tarmac. We can set up in ALL indoor venues too.But if it is indoors please check the height of the venue indoor so the castle can go inside.
We can deliver the bouncy castle that you hire through a house if it is arranged with the homeowner. We do need a lot of room (A MINIMUM 3ft wide clear access to deliver most small castles). Bouncy castles are often bigger and heavier than most people imagine, and so to move about with them we use sack barrows and we will need to wheel the sack barrow through the house. If it has been raining, there can be a possibility that water and dirt has been trapped inside the castle, which sometimes has a tendency to drip out onto surfaces.
We might refuse to bring a castle through a house if the space required is not available and DJ Land of Castles Ltd will not accept responsibility for any damage that could take place if a customer insists we go ahead with set up anyway.
Yes, it is possible to do so; but this only applies to very small slopes. We will not set up on very steep slopes.
Our Members of staff will bring all the equipment needed with them. This will include the bouncy castle that you have hired, safety mats (for indoors), sand bags and/or pegs to hold the castle down, extension leads, and an inflation fan.and ground sheets if needed.
There must be access to a 240V mains power supply (general mains socket is fine) within 50 meters of the bouncy castle as this is how far are leads can reach.
Generators and petrol blowers are an option where no electricity is accessible and are priced from just £25-petrol blowers,£50-generators that run 2 castles.
The bouncy castle stays inflated with the help of electric blowers, which stay on all the time, when the castle is in use or if you have ordered are petrol generators or are petrol fans to keep it up aswell.
Set up times vary depending on location and size of castle but we intend for 15 minutes. Packing away all the equipment generally takes 20 minutes. However this can vary if its been raining its takes long to put the castles and slides away.
The space you need depends on the size of the bouncy castle that you hire but as a rule you will need to allow a minimum of 2 feet at the front and rear of the castle and 2 feet each side. This is to allow easy access for the blower at the rear of the castle.
We need a 3ft wide clear access to deliver most castles. Please make sure the area is clear of sharp objects, animal excrement, garden tools & furniture and rubbish also the grass is cut were the bouncy castles or inflatable slides are going.. If you are going to have the inflatable set up inside a hall you will need to ensure that the ceiling height is at least 1ft higher than the top of the bouncy castle. Please note because of the size and weight of bouncy castles we cannot manage with a flight of steps, but one or two steps are physically possible and if someone is on hand to help it will be easier but we will try are best to get the castle up the stairs for you.
The bouncy castle is yours for a minimum of 7 hours or for only a few hours, your choice, but the price will stay the same. We intend to deliver and collect at a time that suits you. We start delivering from 7.00am and we start collecting from 6pm onwards. Later collections can be arranged where possible. And you can have your bouncy castles or inflatable slides over night if you wish so but phone for details.
Delivery times might vary but we do try our best to deliver and collect at a time that suits you so your party goes a head on time for you.
Yes, however there is an additional £20 cost and we would need the bouncy castle to be available for collection by 7.00am the following day . We require an early collection as there is a good chance that castle will be on hire again to another event. We kindly ask that you inflate the castle before we arrive and if required, give it a wipe over with a mop using hot water and washing up liquid so the next party gets it as you did clean its a big help to us.
Any damage caused to any of our castles and accompanying accessories will be paid for in full by the hirer as well as loss of earnings whilst repair is taking place by a repairer of our choice. We do require that the location be well lit and secure. DJ Land of Castles Ltd reserve the right to refuse overnight hire at any time.If we dont think its going to be safe in your garden over night.
Bouncy castles use around 14p per hour to run.So its not that much to have a party.
The upper age limit is 14, there is no lower limit. Children over 14 years will need an adult bouncy castle.
Most of our castles come with rain/sun covers and can therefore still be used in light showery conditions. Should there be heavy rain or strong winds the castle(s) should not be used. Do however keep the castle inflated. This prevents water from pooling inside the castle IT WILL TAKE US LONGER TO PUT IT AWAY IF YOU LET IT DOWN SO THE WATER GET ON THE BOUNCY CASTLES. EVEN ARE INFLATABLE SLIDES. SO PLEASE LEAVE THEM INFLATED MANY THANKS.It is recommended that the maximum wind speed bouncy castles can be operated outdoors with is 38km/h or Force 4 on the Beaufort Scale if you think its force 4 DONT used the castle or slide.
We keep regular checks on up to date weather conditions and if we think that there is likely to be heavy rain or severe wind on the day of your hire, we might contact you before delivery to discuss with you to see if you wish to go ahead with your booking or you can phone us to let us no what its like were you are before we get they its a big help. If we end up setting your bouncy castle up then it'll have to be paid for and we are not capable to offer any refunds for bad weather.
If the weather is poor on the day of your booking and we cancel the hire for safety and insurance reasons we will try our best to book you the same castle (if available), or another one of the same size, if available, on another day. We will work with you are try are best to make your party go ahead.
In heavier rain conditions or worse, please request all children to exit the bouncy castle, please do not switch it off at the electricity mains, if you leave the castle inflated, it stops water from pooling inside it.We supply elecrtical extensions that are splash proof so if its raining bad try put the lead in a bag till it stop. And our blowers are water protected. Once the rain has gone off wipe the castle before allowing the children go on it again to avoid slipping accidents it takes 15 mins to dry off so your party can get going again.
